Eclipse DVD-Release Party

At the beginning of this month, Shana (who just started her own party planning blog: Party Profiles!) & I hosted an Eclipse DVD-release party. We planned everything in red, black & white, had tons of food to eat, & had a blast with our friends . . . minus the fact that Will kept coming downstairs when he was supposed to be in bed, so I ended up staying with him upstairs until Scott got home to take over. And Shana was so tired, she fell asleep part way through, so decided to just head home early.
Some favorites: chocolate cookies w/ chocolate frosting & jam thumbprints.
Shana also took these glass bottles & made a sparkling lemonade/cranberry juice/Sprite concoction for us to drink.

Sandi, Tammy, me, Jen, Crystal, Shana (the other guests hadn't arrived yet)

And wait - we had a surprise! Not just Jacob this time - Edward was able to come along too!

26 April - Eclipse trailer

Here's to the beginning of the June 30, 2010 cheese fest! My sister emailed me the link for the new Eclipse trailer, & I'm getting exctied! The first trailer for the movie was so boring & disappointing, so I was much happier when I saw this one!

New Moon Trailer #3

When I was pregnant with William, I finally gave in to the pressure to read "Twilight."  I had avoided reading the series because there was so much hype over it.  I knew it must be overrated.  When I finally started reading it, I was hooked.  I read the first two books in a day each, & the third in just a few days (it would have been one day, but I was with Scott's family in Hawaii). I think part of the reason I liked the series so much was because I'd been 'stuck' in "Les Miserables" - although a wonderful story, it is a much slower book - & I finally had a fluff book to breeze through.  Plus, as stupid as it may sound, this series was a big part of my time being pregnant with my miracle baby. It also got me interested in my family history (the Native American part) which then led to me finding & being able to do the temple work for one of my Indian ancestors - Melinda. So although the series is quite cheesy, there are deeper reasons that I find it so special.

New Moon Trailer #2

I continue to stay true to my nerd self - & I'm okay with that.

New Moon Trailer

I'm a total nerd & love the Twilight series - here's the 1st official New Moon trailer. Of course the books & movies (thus far) are cheesy, but I like some cheese now and again. Needless to say, I'm pretty excited for November to come.

"Twilight" Movie

I was curious to know how the Twilight movie was coming along and came across this clip. It is a behind-the-scenes look at the movie. I think it looks like it's going to be good.
