More Family Photos

I don't really have anything to write about, but it's been a while since I've posted anything. Here are some more pictures that I've just scanned to go on my Family Wall. All of the pictures are of my dad's side of the family except for the first one.
My great-grandmother, Hazel's, brother - Basil
My dad's mother: Grandma Aileen - She sent this picture to her future husband while he was at war. It's fun to read the notes that she wrote him on the back of the pictures.
My dad's father: Grandpa Lloyd overseas at war.
Their five children (clockwise from the top): Jaynee, my dad, Bev (my cousin Dani looks just like her), Kevin, and Dan
My great-grandfather, Horace Ezra (He went by "Ez") (second from the left on the ground): This is my Grandma Aileen's father. The only picture I ever saw of him before was a portrait with his wife, and he looks so serious in it. It's fun to see him with his baseball gear.

  1. I love these pictures. And Bev looks like Dani's little sister there!

  4. Liz, I know I've said this before, but I'm so glad you're doing this! Upload these somewhere (Costco?) so I can print them for my family history wall!

  5. I don't think I've ever seen that picture of Grandma. She looks so vampy - I bet Grandpa couldn't wait to get home to her (as evidenced by the next picture of 5 kids!)

  6. The five kids are cute, but the little guy at the end is the best!

  7. It's fun taking a glimpse into the past and trying to imagine what it was like. Your "wall of fame" looks great and you'll have to show it off on your blog soon and thanks again for your parting gifts, you are too nice.

  8. Liz I peek at your blog every once in a while and it's awesome that you have so many cool old pix of you family. I'm super impressed and it almost makes me want to do it too.
