After postponing the landscaping in our backyard (buying stuff for the baby took priority for a while), Scott was finally able to get the rock & dirt for the rock wall.
Our friend, Jonathan, helped Scott haul the rocks to the backyard.

Ready to put the rocks in place

The dirt to fill the planter

Scott's dad picked up a few boulders to add into the wall & to use in the waterfall (a project for November?)

The missionaries came over & wheelbarrowed dirt from the driveway into the planter while Scott and his dad arranged rocks for the wall.

Very cool!!! I like Scott's Dad's chair for lunch!!! I can't wait to see the finished product!
ReplyDeleteI love Dennis in the wheelbarrow; that's so funny. And very resourceful. The wall looks great. I can't wait to see it in person in just over a month!!!

"slight disappointment", katy? seriously...who cares about your wall? (which DOES look fantastically *awesome*...your guys must have been exhausted, but they did a great job) where are the baby pics?? ;)

ReplyDeleteI can't believe how talented you guys are. Looks awesome, and like a lot of hard work.
ReplyDeleteAs always, I am impressed at how quickly your to-do list gets done. The wall looks great and kind of familiar...:)
