Well . . . I've always had a hard time keeping track of things happening in my life, so I thought starting a blog might help me with that. For those of you who don't know, Scott and I are living in CA. We've been here for almost a year now, and we just bought our first home in April. Scott is working for the fire department as a firefighter/paramedic. He's on a one-year probation that ends in December. We'll both be extremely happy when that's over. I am currently working at Pottery Barn (I'm hoping to quit soon, but can't get myself to leave the discount) and am nannying a little girl named Kennedy (she's about 21 months and full of energy). I am also on summer break from grad school, trying to discover why I'm putting myself through so much misery. I've been in school without a break since preschool, and I'm starting to get a little burnt out.
lives...i mean, sorry.

ReplyDeleteI haven't read "A Thousand Shining Suns," but I'll put it on my list.
ReplyDeleteliz, we're both reading Wuthering Heights this summer! let's start a book club.
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw that we both wanted to read "Wuthering Heights" this summer, it made me think of Freshman year at BYU when we wanted to start a book club with Pride and Prejudice. I think I only got about 30 pages into the book before our book club idea disappeared. There's always room for a second chance though.
